At Mangrove Mountain, we were tasked with a high-precision, time-sensitive job, cutting a 1,400-meter, 300mm-thick warehouse floor into smaller, removable slabs. Utilising state-of-the-art equipment and a highly trained team, we exceeded expectations by completing the task in just 8.5 hours—well ahead of schedule—delivering a flawless and efficient result.
The M6 project is a crucial multi-lane road link designed to enhance connections to Sydney’s south. We were proud to be subcontracted for Stage 1, where our expertise was called upon to cut over 14 km of roads and pavements. Our role was instrumental in upgrading the 33 kVA permanent power supply and supporting the major improvements at the President Avenue and Princes Highway intersection. We also performed precision cutting to remove cracks and unstable areas, ensuring improved road safety and enhancing pedestrian and cycle pathways.
This complex project required us to core up to 20 600mm-wide cores, 1.8 meters deep, through varying materials to support bridge works. Our team expertly drilled at precise gradients to align with a boring rig from the opposite side of the bridge. With comprehensive training in working at heights and confined spaces, we collaborated closely with all teams to ensure the safest, most efficient, and environmentally friendly plan of execution.
Heritage works at Hickson Road, Barangaroo, called for precision and care as we carefully cut into heritage walls to upgrade the stormwater pipeline. Our involvement extended to cutting along 1.2 km of road for electrical and data conduits and stormwater pits. Joining as a preferred subcontractor in 2023, we continue to support this iconic project through to completion.
The redevelopment of Sydney Fish Markets at Blackwattle Bay is set to be a premier waterfront attraction. For this project, we were engaged to perform 4.2 km of concrete cutting for an 11kV feeder from Camperdown to Glebe. Our precision work was essential to the infrastructure upgrades required for the new facility.
This highly time-sensitive project required us to perform core drilling to extend seven stormwater culverts into Sydney Harbour. Working closely with tidal movements, we delivered on a demanding schedule while also providing road-saw cutting to support RMS road upgrades along Bridge Road.
For the Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre, we were subcontracted by RA Smith to handle all concrete cutting along the pipeline routes in Cecil Hills and Bonnyrigg. This environmentally conscious project required strict adherence to John Holland’s environmental standards, and our team worked diligently to meet all operational requirements while maintaining a focus on sustainability.
